Manager Mike Jackson might not have added anybody else to our ranks before the closure of the loan window today, but he did welcome back striker Tom Bradshaw to training.

The Welsh U21 international at first looked set to face a race against time to get back before the end of the season after he picked up a knee injury in training last month, but through luck and determination and the hard work of both him and physio Chris Skitt he is ahead of schedule and could return to the pitch in next weeks reserve game against Walsall which would put him back into contention for at least the bench.

Speaking to the Official Site Jackson explained.

‘Tom’s back in training. Skitty’s put his typical healing hands on him, as physios do, saying it’s going to be ten weeks and then they come back in five and he’s the best physio in the world!’

Joking aside from our gaffer, he credits Skitt for doing a fantastic job and credits Bradshaw for his own determination to get back in time to play some part as the season closes out and Jackson will be using the reserve game to get people minutes so they are sharper to be called upon.
