Tom Bradshaw has signed a contract extension at Shrewsbury today.

The Welsh U21 international is the second player to commit for next season after six were offered new deals and whilst the 20 year old admits last season was frustrating he’s hoping to really kick on with the form he showed in the final few games of the season.

Speaking to the Official Site after signing the deal, he said.

‘I still believed that the club had every confidence in my ability, the opportunity didn’t really arise last season bar the last three games. I got man of the match against Oldham and had a couple of goals disallowed but even the gaffer told me they weren’t offside. If those two had counted it would have made it even sweeter, but I felt I did really well and showed what I could do.’

Bradshaw adds that he’s really happy to have signed the deal because he feels at home at the club and he’s nicely settled, in and around his family, so it’s the perfect place for him to keep developing and he’s expecting Graham Turner to add some good competition up front over the summer so the club can continue to improve.
