The semi final draw for this season’s EFL Trophy competition will be made on Thursday evening.

The draw will once again take place on sky Sports’ EFL Matters programme on the evening of Thursday January 25.

The programme begins at 7pm tonight and the draw is expected to take place at approximately 7.15pm.

The show is hosted by presented David Prutton and he will be joined by pundit Don Goodman and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Sam Saunders.

The semi final ties are a straight home/away basis with no seeding or regionalisation.

Further details about the semi final draws will be released following this weekend’s FA Cup action.

Three of the four sides through to the semi final stage are known following Tuesday evening’s ties that saw Shrewsbury Town, Chelsea U23s and Lincoln City secure their place in the next round.

The final quarter final tie will take place on Tuesday February 6 when Yeovil Town host Fleetwood Town.
