Elton to play Meadow

Sir Elton John has announced he will play his first gig in Shropshire at the Greenhous Meadow next month.

Operations and Commercial Manager, Ian Bebbington told the official website:

‘Sir Elton is world renowned, for Shropshire to host an artist of his stature will be a very proud moment for all concerned, it will also of course have significant economic benefits for the County as a whole. We are delighted to be working with the promoter in bringing Sir Elton John to Shrewsbury Town Football Club and we will look to work closely with the local residents and authority to ensure that the full planning process is followed.’

The gig will take place on Sunday 12 June.

Tickets are priced at £50.00, £35.00and premium tickets (subject to booking fee).

Tickets will go on public sale on Thursday 28 October at 9am.
