Manager Mike Jackson has today added Yeovil Town’s Sam Foley to our playing staff for the next month.

The midfielder has joined us in time to be eligible for his debut in tomorrow’s game against Bristol City and the former Republic of Ireland U18 international was a regular for them last season in their successful promotion campaign to the Championship.

His last appearance for Yeovil this season came in their FA Cup defeat to Southampton back at the end of January and in total he has made seven appearances this season.

The 27 year old has made well over 100 appearances in his time in football, mostly for Newport County and Yeovil having spent time in non league football, he also comes to us with a decent scoring record vs the games he has played in midfield.

Jackson explained that he’d spoken to manager Gary Johnson about the player when he came on the radar so he’s taken a good look at him and he feels he’ll definitely add to what we have.

Sam has been handed the No 10 shirt for his time with us.
