Defender Jermaine Grandison traveled to Cambridge today to have an injection in his hip which should help his recovery from injury.

Following the injury against Swindon, it was expected he would be out for upto six weeks, but following his progress and the injection the club will reassess him in a fortnight.

Graham Turner told the Official Site.

‘We’re hoping that it will all go well for him. After today it’s another fortnight’s rest and then we’ll take stock and decide where he goes from there.’

If the injection doesn’t seem to do the trick, the player may have to consider surgery.
