Sullay Kaikai, on loan from Crystal Palace, is in with a chance, a one in three chance anyway, of being named the latest PFA Fans’ Player of the Month in League 1.

Sky Sports have revealed Kaikai’s form for Shrewsbury in October has seen him named on the shortlist to be named Player of the Month.

Kaikai, who is impressing with his performances that are also bringing him goals during this loan spell from Premier League side Crystal Palace, is on the list of candidates, along with:-

Rory Donnelly (Gillingham)
Joe Pigott (Southend)

Perhaps the Sky Sports ‘pundits’ etc. narrow down a shortlist to three but it is the fans’ votes that decide who wins this with Kaikai very much in with a chance, which he’ll be crowned if he gets enough votes!

In which case you know what to do if you want the Shrews man to win….

Merely being recognised as an option for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October is a positive for Shrewsbury, as the Shrews look for an upturn in fortunes after a difficult season for the club so far, and of course a boost for Kaikai himself!

We’ll know soon enough if he wins this.
