Shrewsbury Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the midweek that has been selected after the recent action.

The performance by Nathaniel Knight-Percival in the two nil victory over Rochdale in midweek at the Greenhous Meadow was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Knight-Percival was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Shrewsbury climbed out of the Sky Bet League 1 relegation zone thanks to a three-point haul against Rochdale. It was the third clean sheet in four for a Shrews defence led superbly by Knight-Percival, who also nodded home the second goal in the 2-0 win.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Knight-Percival for his recognition, but the most important thing about the game was of course the win.

Full Team:

Scott Loach (Notts County), Josh Coulson (Cambridge United), Nathaniel Knight-Percival (Shrewsbury Town), Chey Dunkley (Oxford United), Conor Hourihane (Barnsley), Darren Ambrose (Colchester United), Dale Stephens (Brighton), Luke Gambin (Barnet), Jonathan Obika (Swindon Town), Matty Taylor (Bristol Rovers), Wes Burns (Fleetwood Town).
