The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Fleetwood Town this weekend.

Shrewsbury Town travel to Fleetwood Town on Sunday February 7 for the game at Highbury Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Andrew Madley
Linesmen: Ricky Wootton and Christopher Akers
Fourth Official: Richard Wild

Match Day referee Madley (West Yorkshire) has officiated one Shrewsbury game this season – the one nil loss to Crewe back in September. In that game he showed one yellow card, to the opposition.

He has however already taken in 27 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 89 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brentford and Reading on August 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows in the game between Rochdale and Oldham on October 24.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
