Return for Sharps?

Captain Ian Sharps is not guaranteed a return to the starting XI against Stevenage on saturday.

Loan man Exodus Geohaghon played alongside Shane Cansdell-Sherriff in the matches against Crewe and Southampton. Exodus has impressed Graham Turner and Sharps understands he may not be able to walk back into the side.

Sharps, who last played at the end of October, told BBC Radio Shropshire: ‘I know there’s no guarantee of a place.’

Geohaghon was signed as emergency cover for Sharps after the Town captain picked up a hamstring injury in the recent win over Barnet.

‘I’m enjoying it,’ said Geohaghon. ‘It’s more experience and more football. I’m here until January and we’ll have to see what happens then.’
