Graham Turner has said he was pleased with the point against Crewe, especially as we had to fight back from behind for it.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 1-1 draw, the gaffer said.

‘I think over the course of the two games, at MK Dons and again here, that four points is a good return especially with the position we’re in. We’re pleased with the outcome after falling behind so early but we’ve done well over a period of time after we’ve gone a goal down and in one or two of those games we’ve come back and got a result.’

Turner added that he was disappointed with the way we seemed to open up and hand Crewe the ball for a 15 minutes spell, as otherwise our play had been good, and we had the chances in the second half to have maybe stolen all three points, including the possible penalty shout, so there are positives he can take from the game again.

As for the injury to Cameron Gayle Turner said he thinks it is hamstring related, maybe a tweak, but he wouldn’t comment further or provide an idea of how long it may keep the player out.
