Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido aims to leave Shropshire with a win in his sides league debut on Saturday. The Staffordshire newboys starting eleven should feature a player used to plying his trade at the Prostar Stadium.
Richard Walker was part of the Shrewsbury side that suffered defeat in the play-offs last year and the experienced forward will be hoping to return to his old club in good form.
The former Villa striker’s new Canadian boss told The Shropshire Star: ‘Richard’s been absolutely brilliant in pre-season.’
‘We’ve tapped into his brain and got a few things about Shrewsbury from last season.’
Paul Simpson’s men will be hoping that the influx of ten new players at the Prostar Stadium means that Walker’s inside knowledge is outdated come 3pm on Saturday.
