Top of the league, what is the mood like amongst Chesterfield fans at the moment?
Everyone is buzzing at the club,sales are through the roof but more importantly the football is of a good standard
It seems the perfect start to life at the B2net, describe the ground and how it has transformed the club?
Great ground,in a great location,we couldnt have asked for more,plenty of local boozers and the quality of the stadium is of a high standard,the pitch is also premier league standard and that is no exageration .
What are the fans expectations for the rsst of the season?
we will win the league,is my expectation,we have a good squad that is waiting on the arrival of quality players from injury,im sure dave allen will give john sheridan what he wants if he feels he needs to add in january but at the moment i dont think we need anybody as sheridans signings have been top class.
Who have been the main performers so far?
everybody has contributed,we have a good team spirit and no individual is worth singling out for special praise,they have all played well.
Have there been any significant transfers in or out of the club this summer?
Sheridan has worked the oracle in the summer,i doubted him after bringing in rubbish like conlon and other garbage last year but this year he has brought in quality and not quantity,davies is a great signing the world is his oyster if he gets consistency in his game,morgan is a diamond,we need him and davies to sign for longer,he has also bought in probably the best utility player we have ever had at the club in mattis who now wears the armband and ford and whittaker have also been immense
Are there any players you wish had left in the summer?
no,he knew who was up to it
Tell us a bit aboit the manager. Is he popular?
To be honest he was about as popular as piles last season,he was miserable and grumpy when interviewed but perhaps it was born of fustration ,he seems a lot happier this year now he has his own team ,but i doubt he will be doing any stand up routines just yet…..he is doing a great job and he likes playing football
Which of our players do you wish you had?
i dont know any,im not even sure if we have ever signed an ex shrew but im probably wrong (Ed – Craig Davies was a youth player…)
What will be the score?
i think it will be tight,we miss dean morgan at home,but we will fight all the way too the 90th minute,because its whats in the players blood now,i think if we get an early lead,we will win comfortably,id say 3-1.
