Weale Earns Mulhearn Praise

Ken Mulhearn has lavished praise on goalkeeper Chris Weale, saying he has joined the ranks of some great Shrews keepers over the years.

Speaking to the Official Site Town Legend Mulhearn said of our current stopper.

‘Chris has carried on what I’m glad to say is a very long line of Shrewsbury Town goalkeepers. He’s joined the ranks with Bob Wardle, Steve Ogrizovic, Alan Boswell and, of course, Joe Hart to name a few – I’ll leave myself out! There seems to be something about this club that they have good goalkeepers and Chris certainly hasn’t let us down.’
